This project was part of my Small Business Website Design UK service, which combines custom development with targeted on-page SEO.
Problem
The client needed a user-friendly custom WordPress form that would calculate stamp duty fees dynamically based on property price and type, helping users make informed financial decisions.
Solution
I developed a custom WordPress form in the shape of a stamp duty calculator, integrated seamlessly into the site’s theme. Using custom CSS, I styled it to match the brand’s aesthetic, ensuring a consistent look across devices. Behind the scenes, I implemented backend logic using conditional formulas to calculate stamp duty rates for standard buyers, additional properties, and first-time buyers. Results update instantly based on the user’s input.
Result
The custom WordPress form on thamesresidential.com improved user engagement and reduced client enquiries about fees, saving time and increasing user satisfaction. It became one of the most visited and interacted-with features on the site.
