Piano Competition – Responsive Website and Logo

— project 2025

A custom logo designed for a piano competition, elegant and restrained, carrying the weight of classical tradition while speaking in a contemporary visual voice.

Problem

A new piano competition was just beginning to take shape.
It needed a full visual identity and a web presence that could introduce the event, communicate essential information, and invite musicians to take it seriously. There were no existing design assets, no brand guidelines, no visual direction yet. Everything had to start from zero, including tone, structure, and feeling.

Solution

I built the visual concept from the ground up.
Working in Figma, I designed a website layout that balances artistic prestige with digital clarity, something that feels elegant without being distant, contemporary without losing its classical roots.

Alongside the website, I created a custom logo that quietly references classical music while staying clean and minimal. This became the foundation of the visual identity. The layout relies on considered spacing, modern typography, and intuitive navigation, with a structure designed to translate smoothly into responsive development later on.

Every element, from the color palette to the page hierarchy, was developed, tested, and refined by me, step by step, as the identity took form.

Result

The outcome is a complete visual identity and design system, ready for developer handoff.
While the site has not yet gone live, the project gives the competition a polished and versatile visual language that feels credible, contemporary, and confident from the start.

The client was highly satisfied with both the creative direction and the clarity of the presentation, leaving them with a strong foundation to build the event forward.
